ANNOUNCING FALL CLASSES. I am proud to be returning to the @ssartcenter this fall to teach two workshops on painting water and introduction to painting class.
💧Will we be painting on plexiglass? No.
💧Can you use whatever wet medium you like? Yes.

💧Painting Water: Water and Light
Saturday, 11/1, 10-1pm.
The focus will be on how to convincing portray reflection, illumination, and refraction of light on water. Palette choice, value relationships, and movement from ripples on a pond to sparkling
🌊 Painting Water: Creating Volume
Saturday, 11/8, 10-1
Here, we focus on how to paint a wave using value, color, and stroke choice to build volume and a sense of movement.
🎨Introduction to Painting
Tuesdays, September 16- Nov 4th, 9-12
This is for those picking up or getting back into painting. We’ll talk about a lot of color and building palettes in this class as well as how to build values and composition.
