I am very honored to announce that one of my pieces have been accepted at ARTcetera Boston 2015. The bi-annual event raises funds through auctioned art for the AIDS Action Committee. I was lucky enough to go to the last ARTectera in 2013 (thank you to the Mannes!) and was blown away by the event, we had so much fun!
ps- I SWEAR this is Randy and I walking in to the 2013 event… pointing to the NECR lightboxes in my blue coat that I know I wore… serendipity!
My work that will be included, “The Wave Falters”, has already been in a juried exhibition for the American Society of Marine Artists this spring and I couldn’t be more pleased that it will be at auction for such an amazing organization.
Mr. Scott and I will be on hand at the event on October 3rd, if you happen to be attending and if you would like to bid on it or any of the fantastic work available, it will all be online at Paddle 8 with the auction starting today, September 18th. Online bidding at Paddle8.com will close on Friday, October 2nd, at 5pm EST. Bids will be transferred over to the main event on Saturday, October 3rd.
I can’t wait to see it and am so thrilled to be part of such a killer event! For more information on ARTcetera Boston see their Facebook Page or Website.
I’ve been working like a fiend and SO excited to be back at The Lucky Finn Cafe this season for two weeks in October! I’ll be doing their regular Friday Fall Gallery Nights, October 23rd and 30th. I’ll be on hand for the event to talk and demo… which BTW, I will have some exciting new work to show. It’s under wraps until then!
I’ve been so busy working I’ve had really ZERO time to post, but I wanted to share that my Nantucket show at Trinity Collection has been extended! I’ll have my work there showing through the end of September! It has been a great experience so far and looking forward to spending some more time out on the island! If you are out on the island to enjoy a little early fall and haven’t yet gotten a chance to see, stop by 50 Main Street and say ‘heeeyyy’!
While the heat has finally broken, it seems real Fall weather is still not here yet so I’ll be in the water getting new stuff as much as I can! Hopefully we’ll get a few storms to blow some rollers our way soon!

Had to share that my first TV interview for South Shore Style TV is now being aired on SCTV (Channel 8 for all you Scituate folks!). I’m including a link to the weekly schedule if you want to check out the air times. However, for all the the non-Scituate peeps and device inclined, here’s the YouTube links:
I got the chance to meet the awesome production team including executive producer, Dana Duggan, and host/executive producer John Roser who came to my studio this winter to talk about my process and working as an artist. The show is three segments long featuring local business owners of the South Shore. The first segment is on the Mill Warf Restaurant, and the second is The Lucky Finn cafe, a new gallery and cafe, both are here in Scituate and I am the third in the show. Coincidentally, I have a solo show opening June 26th at The Lucky Finn, so please check out their segment as well and join us for the opening! (It’s 6-8pm)
Thanks again to Dana & John, you were so fun to work with and made it an awesome experience!
I had been posting on Instagram about a series of canvases I had been working on. They were in part an idea for a friend’s wedding and an exercise in loosening up at a large scale. I got a lot of great feedback on them so I wanted to share them as a whole. They are each 36 x 48″ framed in black, flush mount, solid hardwood frame.
